You should feel enabled to come forward to your manager to discuss your work life balance needs—no matter the circumstance you are in. If you feel you are working too many hours, document an audit of your time and let those facts drive the conversation. Your manager should help you balance and prioritize certain projects over others. If you feel this does not resolve your issue, please reach out to your HR business partner to further discuss this.
