Pros
I like the independence that I have in my current role.
Cons
No bonuses, 4% annual "merit" increase only which is practically nothing. Not much praise or leadership from management. Management throwing their tasks onto our plate to do often. They also gave us zero notice to go back to the office 3 days a week after working from home (successfully) for the past 2 years. Working on my current study - it makes no sense to go into the office as everyone is located in a different state. Not going there to interact with anyone on my study. Pointless and a waste of time.
