Where to start? Projects are poorly budgeted from outset and under-resourced leading to staff being over-assigned and overwhelmed, tasked with the impossible. Systems are not working or clunky, leading to false metrics. Company cares only about report metrics, no other KPIs or quality of study overall. Multiple people leaders in short time, so lack of consistent support. Some people leaders are more micro-managers and prefer to place blame than lead and train than staff. Outsourcing by this company to cheaper countries has led to chaos across all areas, with staff being poorly trained and with seemingly no research experience, leaving remaining staff to carry other FLs workloads, leading to further burn out.
