Pros
They have decent products, they just cant make enough because of bad management decisions
Cons
So many to list...let's start with the senior management team. Quite the clueless bunch. They have no real strategy and make one mistake after another and blame others at lower levels for them. They decided not to build a new sterilizer then they ran out of capacity(all their products require steralization) then they laid off a bunch of people in Austin only to realize they needed to hire them back...THEN they put the Austin plant on MAXIMUM out put. This plant makes big, bulky saline solution. 30 truckloads per day...then they got the bright idea to shrink the distribution network, so it became a daily task to find places to put it all. We literally trucked this stuff to Alaska where it would sit until it expired. It went to Alaska because that was where we had room for it, not because it was needed. The COO should be fired for this. So after a very challenging 2018 where in addition to dealing with the above, the employees also had to deal with both the business and system integration of the hospira business, management decided to have a holiday party for all the employees who didn't quit or weren't fired. You'd think one person from the management team would get up and thank the employees for the effort, let them know that 2019 would also ending challenging too but there was light at the ...but nope, this didn't happen. Not one word of thanks or encouragement. So add a lack of class and empathy to the list of shortcomings.
