Pros
some people are cool (many aren't)
Cons
They will LIE TO YOU, they told everybody I got hired along with that they would be receiving a $4 raise once you get hired on (**first you're a contractor until they decide to hire you, some people get hired on in a few weeks if they're good workers, other lazy ones can take over 12 months.** ) It was all BS, there was no $4 raise, it's just there to trick people into staying because they have such a high turnover rate and desperately need people. Please look for a job elsewhere. I only planned on working here a few weeks but that $4 kept me stuck there like a sucker. The supervisors are all aholes, seriously. it's a fear-based workplace where they think they can just go around trying to intimidate people over the most minor of infractions. The way people get ahead here is by being good but kissers. There's A LOT of favoritism and bias. If a supervisor likes you, you'll get anything you want. This one dude exchanges sexual favors for longer breaks! Seriously, no lie. So if you don't sleep with the supervisor, you'll have to work 2x as hard. If the supervisor don't rock with you, they'll make your life hell; you'll be persecuted for the same stuff that others get away with. People are weird, they enjoy persecuting others and getting them written up, you know to show you who's "boss"? And HR is no good, the superior will win every case no matter what, they will take their side over your side. Please don't make the same mistake as me, go get a job somewhere else. If what I said wasn't enough to convince you, let me remind you that they're now requiring everyone to clock in and out every time they go to take a restroom break. lunch is only 30 minutes, and that includes the amount of time you have to dress up in that whole biosafety gear (it's a plastic gown, boot coverings, face covering, gloves, the whole deal) and it takes a while to get that done. So pretty much you'll have to undress, go walk to the cafeteria/car, heat up your food, eat really fast, walk all the way back to work, put on the whole outfit back on all in 30 minutes. Also it is not allowed to drive out and go get food, you'll get fired for doing that on the spot, no questions asked. I just found out I get paid the same amount as others that have been here 22 years. So what I'm saying is, they don't give you raises. 70% of the people I work with are all looking to jump ship and head elsewhere. I'm just glad I left on my own terms, not when they wanted .
