Management and leadership. They give in too easily to the wants of employees who complain or threaten to go to HR at the expense of model employees who go above and beyond. This leads to those employees to become disillusioned and give up in trying to make this a better place to work while trying to “help pets lead longer, fuller lives.” At the end of the day, it’s all about the bottom line and making the shareholders happy.
