Pros
IEM gives the opportunity to work with creative, smart, and interesting people from many fields. There is a truly collaborative environment that relies on a cross pollination of ideas to provide innovative and effective solutions for IEM's clients.
Cons
As is the case with all government consulting firms, there can be ups and downs in the workload. My experience was that IEM attempted to retain good employees during lean times, but only if they were especially proactive in finding opportunities on existing projects.
