Pros
GTECH has a reputation for stability, resilience and being great at what they do. With years of experience in the field and the instilled confidence that comes with the name, they nearly have no competition at all. Employee satisfaction is so high, that turnover is almost never an issue - which can be considered a disadvantage as this makes promotions almost impossible.
Cons
Technology is outdated in majority of the jurisdictions, which makes competition slightly difficult, however as there's hardly any competition, technology stays outdated, so does the engineering skill set. Due to low turnover, the place is like a bank, which a promotion can take up to 8-10 years in certain cases.
