Pros

The executive team is outstanding, however, the Baytown branch leader Donald Richardson Jr. as well as the branch manager Jackie Velasquez are two of the most outstanding leaders that I have ever worked with. They are extremely knowledgeable in what they do and go above and beyond for the employees that work under them. We are a team in this office, it's not about any one person, they treat us all the same and go above and beyond the employees if needed as well as being involved in the community. I can't say enough about how great they are which brings us together not only as colleges, but we are truly like family, I appreciate that more than anything else. They are absolutely amazing and are willing to help anyone at any time if questions arise regarding business. I'm very thankful to call them leaders because they truly know what a leader means, and bring out entire team together.

Cons

I can't think of any

Cons

If you speak up, expect to be written up, shunned or punished. If you have an issue with another employee and this employee is liked by management, you are screwed. This place is more about cliches and being cool. A manager and all her 8th grade friends work here so there is a childish culture. Also there have been numerous complaints about favoritism due to the relationships that the manager has with like 7 people that work for her. Expectations aren’t clear, communication is very low. They receive “best place to work” award by basically making people fill out the survey I was terminated for lack of knowledge yet there is no training program at all. When I was written up and asked questions about the PIP I was on and requested specific training in order to get off this PIP, it was very clear my manager was mad that I was asking to understand and try to conquer MY Performance Plan. Clearly because the plan wasn’t to see improvement but termination. Prior to this, I worked there for 5 years with no issues. Also the people this company is currently interviewing for my empty spot don’t have the qualifications they said I needed to do the job. In reality the job and company is a very big popularity competition. My work product (a spreadsheet and tracker) is used daily by the entire office. In fact, I was asked to update this sheet, it was sent to the office on Friday and they terminated me on Monday. I was told I do not have the skills to do this job. My personal opinion is, I complained about a producer who is also a partner and 90 days later was terminated. I also told my manager that those on my team don’t feel like they can come forward with honest info after seeing what happened to me. She said she can’t do anything if people won’t say things to her but literally did nothing to find out if people are intimidated or feel unhappy. Basically, they do not care
