Pros

As of recently integris’ new payment standards for its caregivers (medical assistants and lpns) is one of the highest in Oklahoma. Based on years of experience there’s a flat rate of pay which is fantastic. I was recently given a raise which increased my hourly pay over $7 PER hour. PTO under five years is 25 days all front loaded and over 5 is 30 days. Benefits are decent as well. Getting time off is rarely if ever an issue for me. Most management Ive worked with is fantastic.

Cons

Parking is a pain sometimes. It’s quite a far walk from the employee parking lot but it’s not too much of an issue unless it’s raining or something. Most direct management seem to genuinely care about their people and will fight for you if something is really an issue. Obviously there’s the occasional bad manager but they do make it pretty easy to help transferring to another dept if one dept doesn’t work well.

Pros

My coworkers. Nursing shared governance. My unit leaders.

Cons

Nursing is not valued here. We do not have a voice at the senior level meaning the building at quail springs. Any time we have a strong nurse leader at corporate they get rid of them. I hear we are being acquired - I am hopeful it’s an organization that understands nurses contributions and that’s why people come to the hospital. We need a union I think because we need a voice.
