It really depends on the unit…. - Registered Nurse, BSN INTEGRIS Health Employee Review

Pros

There are some genuinely good people there that advocate for their teams, address unit drama, and work hard to cultivate a healthy culture- but it seems these are few and far between.

Cons

The experience entirely depends on the unit. Some are amazing, with exceptional leadership, healthy culture, and strong teamwork. Others, however, are more like a “mean girl” clique, with all the drama, pettiness, and gossiping of a high school. The hospital is in a transition period right now with the heart hospital expansion so expect some turmoil if accepting a job in the next year or so..

Pros

My coworkers. Nursing shared governance. My unit leaders.

Cons

Nursing is not valued here. We do not have a voice at the senior level meaning the building at quail springs. Any time we have a strong nurse leader at corporate they get rid of them. I hear we are being acquired - I am hopeful it’s an organization that understands nurses contributions and that’s why people come to the hospital. We need a union I think because we need a voice.
