Pros
Having been in this industry for many years and interacting with numerous other professionals, my experience at Intera, so far, are: Genuine, caring, and technically-skilled people - from top to bottom, I was made to feel welcome and important. In addition, the array of professionals and their skill sets are very impressive. Independence in the workplace – I work well and appreciate a work environment where I can feel I am trusted to make decisions and carry on day-to-day activities on my own. Flexibility of work schedule – closely related to independence, Intera offers me flexibility to balance my work schedule with and ever-changing home life. If something comes up at home that needs to be addressed, I can do that and adjust my work schedule accordingly. Different types of projects – Intera has many different client bases and, therefore, many different types of projects. I enjoy performing different tasks on different projects to break any monotony.
Cons
I have experienced no cons personally, but I think the independence Intera offers, which I personally find as positive as mentioned above, could be detrimental to those who are not forward-thinking or who need to be told what to do every step of the way. If you are the type who needs to be micromanaged, Intera may not be the best fit for you.
