Pros
If you're a recent college graduate, this is an easy way to enter the oil and gas industry.
Cons
There needs to be some form of work-life balance. Management likes to play the phone game, and you will not be rewarded for being a great employee; you will just be overworked. Like a spoiled child, the person running the show seems to behave with emotion with no logic. Management likes to gossip about the field, favoritism/nepotism has run rampant, and there are no guidelines on how to be promoted. If you speak up about the issues, your supervisors will be used like puppets to do the dirty work for the person in charge, leading them to belittle you and make you want to quit. There is a reason they're always hiring for this position, and it all involves poor management.
