Pros

Company has strong name recognition

Cons

The role I accepted was presented as a consultant position, but the day to day responsibilities aligned much more closely with an engagement manager role. Onboarding and training were minimal, with most guidance limited to PDFs and informal learning. Team representation was limited, and internal support was inconsistent when navigating challenging client interactions. In situations where concerns were raised, escalation often felt risky rather than protective, which made it difficult to feel supported while doing client facing work. My employment ended abruptly and communication around the separation lacked clarity. System access was removed during the workday while I was actively completing client requests, and clarification only came after extended back and forth with IT. The situation was later acknowledged internally as having been handled poorly. Compensation and severance did not feel aligned with the scope of responsibility or the circumstances surrounding the role. Overall, the experience highlighted gaps in role clarity, training, employee advocacy, and consistent internal support.

Pros

Remote work option is nice to have

Cons

Zero support from management, with employee development and team concerns often taking a back seat to other priorities. Morale continues to go downhill, and several colleagues exploring opportunities elsewhere or leaving the organization already. The culture is challenging, particularly around providing candid feedback, as employees often are tracker down and face negative repercussions and retaliations. Career advancement depends more on aligning with leadership preferences than on merit and performance. Would not recommend this company to those seeking a supportive environment with transparent growth opportunities. Overall, the culture is political and difficult to navigate.
