Pros

It may provide a good opportunity for someone who is wanting to fast track to District Mgr., Regional Trainer, or Regional Director. Within the commercialization subsidiary in which I worked, sales reps with only 2 years experience, and it was acquired with position at Quintiles were promoted to Regional Trainer and District Manager. However, I believe they make hasty hiring decisions because of client expectations, leading to poor management. Eventually, these decisions led to several Regional directors and managers' termination for performance and/or breach of proprietary confidentiality agreements and fraud.

Cons

Poor leadership, who made decisions that were only workable in the short term, which was one reason for high turnover. Leadership was more concerned with the appearances of our company, and less about what the realities were in the field. Will terminate if you ask for medical leave in some cases. No women in upper management when I was employed. Management over promises potential. We were left in the dark on decisions made that would impact work.

Pros

Tremendous data assets and people subject matter expertise. Great assistance in providing employees with learning new skills and career growth. The company embraces workers with deep experience

Cons

A lot of confusion and competition on who engages clients and who gets credit for sales. Clients are often confused on who is the point of contact .
