Pros

this is my first time being directly employed by such a large international organization. my benefits are better than what I'm used to - i have puppy insurance. but

Cons

my medical insurance does suck compared to what I had when I was using the obamacare marketplace. i now pay over $300 a month of my own money for a plan with a large deductible and im sure every caveat they can manage. under obamacare i paid $30/mo for a silver-level PPO with no deductible. also they only pay me $15/hr here. The other guy I was training with for the exact same position was offered $17. A nearby company has since offered him $20 and when he went to our manager with a request for the same, the manager declined and it seems I'm the only new hire in this office now. During the first week of fraining I met someone who was offered $14/hr and another personal who was offered $17/hr. All for the same title.

Pros

Remote work option is nice to have

Cons

Zero support from management, with employee development and team concerns often taking a back seat to other priorities. Morale continues to go downhill, and several colleagues exploring opportunities elsewhere or leaving the organization already. The culture is challenging, particularly around providing candid feedback, as employees often are tracker down and face negative repercussions and retaliations. Career advancement depends more on aligning with leadership preferences than on merit and performance. Would not recommend this company to those seeking a supportive environment with transparent growth opportunities. Overall, the culture is political and difficult to navigate.
