Pros

Great job if just out of college and looking to start a sales career. Pharma sales overall has very strong and rigorous sales training (although at times not realistic). It all depends on your contract, mine was ongoing and I was there about 4 years. My specific contract: -fun people/atmosphere -decent pay and benefits/perks -build network, relationships, friends and business contacts in your local market

Cons

Again, it all depends on contract and your direct manager. Unfortunately pharma sales can be a very top down, manage by fear type of environment. The good people can look past this and work through it (managers, coworkers). Since we weren't actual employees of the company that contracted us, at times you felt like you were be treated like the red headed step child. But you just gotta keep your head up and keep hustling, things always get better.

Pros

Some solid team members and colleagues to work with and learn from. Some flexibility in work hours, as long as your work gets done. Very deliverable-focussed. Interesting work in clinical research. The job is fully remote, which is nice.

Cons

Sometimes requires extended hours in order to complete project; very dependent on stakeholders and last-minute changes from various people. The volume of work and the constant pace can wear you down.
