Pros

The company is very aggressive regarding market growth. The senior leadership is very savvy with regards to strategy and finding growth opportunities. They look for organic growth and through acquisition. So this strategy creates the opportunity to work on various types of projects and technologies. Has a virtual monopoly on pharmaceutical industry data with their products. Parts of the organization are very process driven and very good at operationalizing client implementations. The company does invest in training for their employees.

Cons

The lower skill level of some of the employees will present a challenge in getting things done in an efficient manner. The salary is lower than other firms IMS positions themselves against in the same market place. Has a virtual monopoly on pharmaceutical industry data with their products. Senior leadership keeps the lion share of the bonus money and raises can be paltry at times.

Pros

They were really good at leveraging each individual's strengths. People were helpful and supportive when something is blocking your project

Cons

Unclear or non existent career growth. Way too many harassment and compliance trainings (like significantly more than any other publically traded company I've worked for) to the point where it can interfere with essential tasks. Getting blindsided by a massive layoff.

Pros

Some solid team members and colleagues to work with and learn from. Some flexibility in work hours, as long as your work gets done. Very deliverable-focussed. Interesting work in clinical research. The job is fully remote, which is nice.

Cons

Sometimes requires extended hours in order to complete project; very dependent on stakeholders and last-minute changes from various people. The volume of work and the constant pace can wear you down.
