Pros

Brand Identity Database Warehousing projects are good

Cons

This is in global delivery center - there are 2 major departments. One dev dept is better they say. This custom department is very poor. Very bad resource managers, project managers. Culture is very poor. Its a problem from top to bottom of company. Existing management doesn't know technology co type work culture. New people coming in also seem to be same type - meaning they are not good fit for leading technology projects. Application development projects are very few - and technology is not latest - all outdated things - mostly small changes in legacy projects. No cutting edge things to learn. All management does is micro manage. Rewards and recognitiion system is not proper - because managers selecting these are very poor to understand technlogy, biased to some people - real achievers are not recognized. talented people are not awarded. very poor system to separate attention seekers from performers. Managers attitude in interpersonal communication, meetings, floor etc is very bad - because of all this employees leave. Attrition is high HR useless as with every other place. 1 year back lot of changes happened in HR dept but they only talk nicely but always they take side of the managers. So cycle continues - bad managers, bad policies, bad environment - and if you go to HR then they send back to manager. Here only people give you feedbacl all the time but nobody take feedback from you.

Pros

Some solid team members and colleagues to work with and learn from. Some flexibility in work hours, as long as your work gets done. Very deliverable-focussed. Interesting work in clinical research. The job is fully remote, which is nice.

Cons

Sometimes requires extended hours in order to complete project; very dependent on stakeholders and last-minute changes from various people. The volume of work and the constant pace can wear you down.
