      The company continues to be the market leader in its space. There is plenty of work to do for the people who are able to keep their jobs.

      Cons

      New ownership and management are moving quickly on changes that may not work in the long term... lots of cost reductions and job eliminations

      Pros

      The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.

      Cons

      They’re doing layoffs in phases, and my position was part of the most recent round.
