      Premier League - Senior Manager IRIS Software Group Employee Review

      Pros

      Working at IRIS feels like I’m working in the premier league. This company has cutting edge products that work brilliantly (mostly), a laser focus on making employees and customers happy, great managers and a competent and ambitious leadership team. IRIS is one of the UKs best kept secrets - I would guess that most people are touched by IRIS products everyday. On top of that, IRIS has grown every year for the last 20 years and is highly profitable - making it a secure environment to work in and one where innovation and being the best are valued qualities in employees. Unsurprisingly, the pace of work here is quite fast and everyone is expected to give their best everyday. This is not a place to plod about in or hide under the parapet in - IRIS is too ambitious for that. It’s also a place where you need to prioritise well in order to get the right things done on time. In summary a highly successful, well managed company with great results and a well thought out strategic plan which focuses on making customers and employees happy en route to achieving its ambitious growth plans.

      Cons

      IRIS is highly acquisitive and is doing a really good job of bringing companies into the family - however the energy required for this is over and above energy required for business as usual. Some of the offices are looking a bit tired and could do with a renovation. I know IRIS is doing something about this.

      Pros

      I have been with Iris for approximately 5 months and have been incredibly impressed. The people I work with from my peers, leadership (including executive leadership) and my team, are amazing. Building relationships has been easy as most of the employees are open to it, are very collaborative and genuinely want to help! Iris is also focused on equality and ensure we all have a fair opportunity for growth. While we have a lot to do here, it is clear that we are valued.

      Cons

      As a rapidly growing organization, we have some growing pains and some foundational processes, systems and flow that need to be updated and/or adjusted, but nothing that won't be fixed over time.

      Great product and team. Just no focus on US operations.

      Company has no real direction for US operations.
