Pros
Interesting work, health benefits are great, the compensation is decent, free transpass to ride regional rail . The 10% nighttime differential pay offsets the city wage tax.
Cons
The "zero tolerance" policy with respect to sexual harassment is a joke. Training should be tailored to the needs of the department and taxpayers. The need for a department manager to micro manage a select few employees is curious if not downright suspicious. The mass exodus of TEs from my department is unnerving.
