Pros

You might form relationships with colleagues. You are all stuck in the same boat. Benefits are good, note there is no 401(k) match.

Cons

Rated one star because the zero stars is not allowed. Extremely cheap company. They sold water to employees when there was a local boil order. Employees bring desk chairs from home. Office is disgusting. Dirty. Outdated, bug filled software. Minuscule budget for new development. Their business model is to buy a company, gut it, and reap the maintenance fees until customers leave - Then scale back the company to a skeleton crew. Employees are micromanaged and pitted against each other to reach unattainable sales goals. This is evident by the large television screens updating the score/leaderboard. Compensation is far far below average. Explained that it’s not in the budget, then another company is purchased for millions of dollars shortly there after. Professionalism is nonexistent. Staff development and training is nonexistent. Accepted mediocrity crushes your will to advance professionally. One person was designated to proofread all outgoing emails to check for grammatical and spelling errors. Once that person left, communication verbiage was reduced to an elementary school level. The vast majority of knowledgeable employees are long gone.
