Pros

Is there a chance that you’ll have a meeting with the CEO, who will tell you that results are more important than employees? Possibly. How about all that sexy PTO you had before the acquisition, that’s safe right? Eh… They’re communication has gotta be rock solid…ya? If by rock solid you’re looking for, sending emails asking for updates, direction, transition time…’yo - do I have a job or what?’ And you don’t get a response - Idera then has fantastic communication. Hey how about job security - I’m safe right? Maybe, maybe not? Like the movie Ghost in the Darkness, team members dropped like flies…not because they were let go but, the fear of being let go was real - like trying to construct a railroad in Africa with man eating lions in the grass. Perhaps it's cheaper to wait until the last second to fire people, and see how many leave on their own accord? Food for thought.

Cons

If I really craved being fearful of my company, and desiring nothing more than to boot lick, 80 hour work week for promotions and torpedo my personal life - I’d so be down to log some time with Idera. But…job market is good and umm, I’d much rather not?
