Marketing teams can do wonders to skew Glassdoor reviews. Unless you enjoy an environment of hubris, distrust, stagnant career growth, big-company thinking, and suspect market value, I'd steer clear. The pay is also considerably lower than the market rate, even for a startup. They dangle the equity carrot in front of you, but we all know the value in that... If you decide to interview, I suggest you inquire about the following during your full-day loop (turn your BS radar on): - Why the CEO is reluctant to call their latest valuation a "down round." - Equity value at series A to now. - Their actual vs planned revenue. - Specifically how and why they are better than their competitors. - Whether the HEATED values mean anything, or are they just some words pinned up to a wall. Storage is already unglamorous and Igneous has managed to un-glamorize it further. Kudos to them for that, I suppose.
