Great office culture but stressed leadership and lack of support - Agency Partnerships Manager Indeed Flex Employee Review

Pros

Great office environment and perks, especially the lunches. There are opportunities for advancement for people who navigate internal dynamics well.

Cons

High in-office expectations and a reactive, high-stress culture made it difficult for teams already stretched thin by turnover and years of operating lean. Processes, tools, and accountability were often inconsistent across departments, and employees introducing new systems or process improvements could become convenient focal points when broader operational issues surfaced.

Pros

Working at Indeed Flex was a time I would never give back. I got the chance to work alongside some of the brightest and most driven people in the business. When I started, we had a lot of autonomy and trust in how our team could make a different and to try new things. I also had the room to grow within my career and promise of more opportunities down the line.

Cons

After my first two years, the company quickly shifted. Working at Flex in it's current culture is a competitive burnout factory where if you are not working yourself to the bone, you are not appreciated by upper management or respected. Be prepared to have your work unfairly scrutinized by people who do not understand your role, and to have any mistake you make immediately used against you. Flex was once a place of true open-mindedness and is now a place where the nastier you are, the more you are rewarded. Also, senior management will change company goals and restructure teams at least twice a year if and when goals aren't met. Which lead to constant confusion and rework.
