Pros

Pros to working here include location (Bloomington is great), diversity of activities (influenced by the university), and reputation of graduate programs.

Cons

The major cons are its large size, bureaucracy, and politics. However, I don't consider these to be unique to IU. The Greek lifestyle enjoyed by many undergraduates sometimes seems to precede the educational value that students hold. I have many personal cons that I would attribute to being a poor and overworked graduate student in the sciences. However, I feel those are reflective of the more personal setting I am in on a daily basis. My experience at IU as a whole has been wonderful.

Pros

Amazing role fun to be part of the team that helps students.

Cons

Requires active communication at all times which can be a little difficult to do with students who don't want to speak up.

Pros

Pay was decent, team was kind

Cons

Didn’t train me on programs and procedures, then refused to hire me on full time due to my not knowing programs and procedures.
