Pros
1. Nice working environment 2. Laid back atmosphere 3. Good benefits
Cons
1. Slow in technology development 2. Good in documentation and rules but generally each site has its own interpretation of rules, standards, checklists and methods hence it makes releasing a project confusing, complex and prone to error. 3. Too much office politics 4. Slow in promoting in-house staff, much better to resign first and come back which is usually the way at Infineon 5. The project manager role is important but can easily be blamed for any error, delay or over budget in a project 6. Travel claims are so slow to process 7. Still trying to fix the work life balance concept , anyhow work from home is only available for 3 days but still needs approval from boss 8. Too many meetings, the only company where there is an "alignment meeting" to a meeting, a pre-review of a review or approval meeting, the days are dotted with meetings 9. In an era to make processes faster, this company is perfecting red tape - making documentation requests, release and processing too slow (e.g. requesting for employee letter, etc)
