Pros

I have always felt valued and supported at Infinite Services. Not only is the administrative staff organized and professional, but they are always warm and welcoming when I visit the office. The speech supervisor is truly one-of-a-kind. During my CF year, she consistently provided positive feedback and constructive criticism, which built my confidence as a first-time provider. Whether I currently have a technical therapy question, or am concerned about how to have a sensitive conversation with a parent, this supervisor is always willing to discuss the various daily challenges us SLPs face. My clinical experience via Infinite Services can be described as diverse and enlightening. I am just shy of my third year here, and I have had the opportunity of working in public, private, and charter school environments with children ranging from preschool through high school. I continue to draw upon this invaluable experience as I explore the range of positions in school-aged environments in NYC for SLPs. There always seem to be cases available at Infinite, which allows therapists the freedom to build their own caseloads without long gaps in between placements. I also love Infinite's internal system for submitting notes and billing! It's extremely user-friendly and it syncs with SESIS, making submitting paperwork a breeze. I can also use it to create and manipulate my schedule, which keeps me organized and productive.

Cons

Per diem pay can mean inconsistent amount of weekly compensation

Pros

Good place to work. Very efficient. Does not take long to build a caseload.

Cons

Only offering fee-for-service at this time, even though the amount of time that is spent on the work is a lot.

Pros

The role offered decent compensation and the clinical staff working in the field are dedicated and hardworking people who genuinely care about patient outcomes.

Cons

Leadership at the executive level operates with no accountability and no transparency. Decisions are made arbitrarily and communicated inconsistently, leaving everyone without the tools or authority needed to do their jobs effectively. The HR function is virtually nonexistent. Legitimate workplace concerns raised through proper channels are ignored or met with retaliation rather than resolution. Employees who speak up are sidelined. Performance expectations are unrealistic and inconsistently applied. Goals are set without clear documentation, timelines shift without notice, and staff are held accountable for outcomes they were never given the resources or authority to achieve. The physical office environment is substandard. During my tenure the office experienced ongoing maintenance issues including pest problems, sanitation concerns, and unsafe conditions that persisted for months despite being formally reported. Multiple experienced directors left during my time there. The pattern of executive leadership behavior that drove those departures was consistent and well known internally. Religious and cultural insensitivity at the executive leadership level created an uncomfortable and at times hostile work environment for employees of various backgrounds. If you are considering a role here, think carefully. The gap between how this company presents itself and how it actually operates is significant.
