Pros
Work From Home Kind of get to make your own hours, (maybe)
Cons
Unless you know people, you won’t move up. And if you do, you find that you were better off on the lower level. Before the merger, things were great. Management knew how to run their business and well. You could rely on others for knowledge and if you needed a personal day, everyone understood. One side of the new company had ok pay but the other side, god awful. And unfortunately, with the “new direction” the company is going, it seems the pay is only getting worse. Cheaper labor over knowledge and reliable staff seems to be the way since going corporate. Most of CS believe they own everything and run over EVERYONE. People in various departments all feel this way. And everything is a “priority” to them. They do not stop and consider the actual task they’re demanding of people in different areas. Most are outrageous. And you best believe if you work your butt off, you don’t get the credit. It’s the upper level, not even management, that gets all the credit. There’s not enough of the praise that trickles down to the actual people who do the work and put in the time. Just those who boss them around. I worked there for several years and LOVED my job but it got to the point where I hated waking up because of the stress, mismanagement and no one giving a damn. Anyone can boss someone around but it takes a real person who truly cares, to be a leader. And that what has become of this company. One that doesn’t care.
