Pros
Great coworkers, team environment, stable position, clear goals set at every quarter, competitive pay, a lot of autonomy in your work day, opportunities to move into different positions, upper management does a great job of communicating with the team and SKO is great. I can honestly say that I had a good experience working for Information Builders.
Cons
A lot of the offices are similar to a graveyard. It's extremely quiet in a lot of the offices which makes it difficult for outbound prospecting because there isn't any energy. The territory has a huge effect on your performance as an SDS and whether you're hitting your quota or not. The SDS to AE track is not as clearly defined as advertised. A lot of the AE's are content in their role and rely on renewing contracts to keep their job secure. That makes it difficult for an SDS to move up and that's why you see a lot of SDS' leaving for other companies. Company culture is also very stale. Outside of specific positions like SDSs, AEs, marketing, etc there isn't a ton of company camaraderie.
