Flexible hours and remote potential. Unfortunately, this also means leadership and sales is often invisible - and it’s apparent by the company’s slow, steady decline. The family environment is refreshing.
Cons
Negotiate a 20% higher salary. Like everything here, you really have to work hard for things that should be easy. There is no transparency from executives. The company lost favor with any analysts that are still relevant and that is because they allowed the products to languish in 1984 for too long. The company only has direct sales from a pretty “seasoned” sales force that got lazy during the company’s time on top. From the dinosaur laptop to the per diem expense scheme, IBI can’t get out of it’s own way. Be aware that there are usually 2 layoffs per year and one is always early to mid December.
