"Corporate restructuring eliminated my position" - Systems Engineer Information Builders Employee Review

I left a great job of 6 years after a recruiter found me on LinkedIn. Then with no warning, after 2 and half months my position was just eliminated with no other opportunities and barely any severance. Very, very unprofessional and I am so disappointed. I will also say the benefits were a little odd and no 401k match and IT was terrible to work with. It took well over a month to get my laptop fixed after repeatedly shutting down.
