Pros

No pros, it's a career grave

Cons

People in leadership with old school of thought and their actions are like "Zamindars" who exploit their workers There are the employees sitting in Infosys since decades works in nexus, all the growth opportunities like ESOP(Stock), variable, role change, different incentives they distribute among themselves like "bandar baant", very less is coming to the ground Laterals situation is pathetic, after hiring an employees Infosys thinks that they have given them the hike for lifetime, this is a standard in Infosys not to give hike to laterals for couple of years which may extend to 5-6 years as well Their IJP process is also not transparent, if employee ask for approval to apply IJP from manager then they reject even completed 18 months in organization, if employee apply promotional IJP for which approval is not required then they rated the employee lower rating so that IJP can be cancelled Their performance review cycle is also not transparent, during the cycle they give positive feedbacks but while giving rating they are giving negative feedback They show variable as 100 percent on meet expectation on offer letter while they are not giving more than 85 percent to top raters and 50-60 percent to meet expectation. They also manipulate 3.montha notice according to their comfort, 3 months notice is Job lock for an employee. In short Infosys is a "Career GRAVE". If you are in a bad situation then only join Infosys with a plan to resign within 6 months of Probation period as notice will be of 1 months, else you will be stuck. Also, they may hire you for a particular location but if you are on bench and refuse the project of another location then they will add a 'Refusal" on your name and can terminate you as well in case of refusal, so please be clear before joining.
