Pros

Benefits. Note: If you are considering a role in any department ASIDE from Marketing, please disregard this post.

Cons

DO NOT consider working here if any of the following apply to you: You hate TOXIC environments You don't suck up You WANT to grow You want your work to be acknowledged You want to LEARN and have an educated leader You want to get a timely performance review You want more than just BUSY work You want to be treated equally You don't want to be mislead about your role and place in the company Unfortunately you are pretty much forced into having to feed into the negativity and engage in the every day gossip about others in the company if you want to be respected or to even be considered to grow within the company. If management does not like you they will treat you unfairly, dump all menial tasks on your plate, and eventually DRIVE you out of the company. No one has done anything about it or WILL do anything about it so its pretty much a dead end street. Every day is a scene straight out of the movie "Mean Girls." If you enjoy cattiness, favoritism, and you have a passion for gossip, you may do very well in the Marketing department. Otherwise, PLEASE do yourself a favor and STAY away.

Injured Workers Pharmacy Response

At IWP, our Marketing team is energetic, hardworking, creative and dedicated. We take initiative and drive change across all departments within our organization and represent IWP both professionally and personally with respect and pride. Our roles demand maturity, positivity and passion for what we do and passion separates the great from good. As someone once said, “The good chase opportunities; the great create them”. Working as part of our Marketing Team means being able to work in a matrix organization, Marketing Department touches every aspect of IWP and having those collaborative skills sets us apart. Everyone here at IWP works hard and as a team we understand that all employees, patients, vendors are of high value. Your value as a person, how you view the world and your role in it, is more important than the words on your resume. The understanding of that concept does not make it toxic or unethical; it is the realization that one needs character, dedication and professionalism to be successful in any corporate environment. We are sorry this reviewer was not able to take lead, learn and grow within our Marketing Team and see the great value of IWP as an organization. We wish them the best in their future endeavors

Pros

Work life balance - flexibility in hybrid/remote work - each department has individual freedom to manage employees and jobs as needed (aka if one department needs different hours or different scheduling then they can do that). There is a corporate structure but it's a small enough company that people still know each other. Everyone is friendly and nice. There's no real "work politics" that I have experienced at other larger companies. Bonuses are decent and pay is competitive. Benefits are good. I see potential for growth as the business and the overhead company that IWP created continues to grow.

Cons

There can be a decent turnover rate in specific departments or areas. I think some of this is due to some of the job styles/types though (ex: more of the call center, customer service-oriented jobs and the sales team). From my knowledge, it's common to have high turnover in those areas.
