Pros
I wrote a review almost 2 years ago after my first year with the company, but I realized I have so much more insight now into what it’s like to work at Innominds that I really need to update it to give a more current perspective on the work environment here and how I feel almost 4 years into my time at the company. First things first, I want to make it clear that I’m only writing about MY experience at the company. I don’t claim to know how everyone who has ever worked here feels about Innominds nor do I really care. Some people have had better experiences and some have probably had worse. I only know my own and that’s the only one I can share in any truthful capacity. Alright, now that that’s out of the way… I think the biggest difference between the way I felt about working at Innominds after 1 year and how I feel now is that my positivity about the culture and the work environment aren’t based on hopeful projections but actual lived experience. After only a year I wasn’t sure whether I was still in the “honeymoon phase” or not and if I was just seeing everything through rose-colored glasses. And I probably was to an extent, but I’m happy to say that my hopefulness wasn’t ill-placed. Everything I expected to get out of this work experience, I’ve gotten, and so much more. I’m establishing a career here and, with the help and support of my manager, I intend to reach every single one of my career goals over the next 10-20 years. I believe I’ll still be with Innominds at that time, although I always keep an open mind and I’ll be sure to update my reviews on here as time passes to keep things current for anyone who’s considering working here and wants to know what it’s like and how current employees feel about their jobs.
Cons
Obviously the perfect company doesn’t exist, and Innominds is no exception. There’s still days where I get frustrated with the people I’m working with and wonder why there seems to be so many problems with communication. My manager and I don’t always see eye-to-eye on the best way to approach certain problems, and some days I wake up and don’t feel like coming to work at all. But I’ve been in the business too long (and at too many different companies) not to know that that’s just how it is at every company. It’s no worse than anywhere else and, at the end of the day, it’s still a job.
