Pros
If you're unexperienced but confident in your ability to learn, you can get a lot from working here. The people on your team who have worked here for a long time are incredibly friendly and they're willing to assist you on any question/problem you might run into. You will run into very knowledgeable people who have an eagerness to teach.
Cons
Unfortunately the problem here is systemic. The turnover rate is incredibly high. The most glaring red flag you will see right away, is that the turnover rate is incredibly high. During a period of 3-4 months about 10 people have left. Which is concerning, when the total team size varies between 15-20 fully staffed. So when you come here, do not be surprised when the longest tenure on your team to potentially be only a couple of months. The oddest thing about this is that InquisIT's management doesn't seem to convey any accountability or acknowledgment of this problem. It's obvious from the stress that they portray on their faces that it affects them, but they try to hide the alarming turnover rate by sweeping it under the rug. It's almost as if they're trying to just ignore it. By closing their eyes, it'll just go away. Funnily enough, by trying to ignore it as if it doesn't exist, the problem just gets bigger, and the employees are the ones going away. You will be co-managed. Prepare to have multiple personalities govern how and what you should prioritize. Sometimes you will be assigned a critical task from one manager, but get criticized from another manager why you aren't working on the task they deem as more important. There is barely any direction and you will constantly have to put out fires due to those priorities being adjusted on the fly. No day is certain here, stay on your toes, and do not expect to be treated as a fellow human-being. Lack of Trust. If you actually need to work remotely, you will be questioned what you will be working on while remote. Which doesn't make sense because any day you work remotely, you will need to send a report at the beginning and end of the day, providing information on all the tasks you did that day. If you need to take time off, you will need to justify taking that time off. They will passive-aggressively make you feel guilty for this. Unless you really prove you know what you're doing by going way above the call of duty, you will be treated as a child, and will not be trusted with much of anything. If you're an experienced professional, stay far away from this place. There will be no benefit from you working here. Only if you're desperate for work experience will this opportunity be resourceful. Just make sure that you have a goal in sight, and to leave for the next best opportunity ASAP.
