Pros
After reading some of these recent reviews, I felt I wanted to come on here and address some of them as, frankly, they are unfair. During my time at Insider, I have received a number of promotions and have always felt supported. The points on here about the people that work here being great are true - there really are some fantastic people, who work incredibly hard. You are never expected to work past your 5.30pm finish time, infact encouraged to leave if you are working late. The points about 'working conditions being horrendous' make it sound like we are working in a dingy basement with no facilities, which is just simply not the case! And no - we don't work in silence - we just get on with our work, but if we want to chat, we do. The MD (who is subject to some truly awful comments on here) has managed to navigate this company through a recession and a global pandemic with minimal redundancies and I just don't feel there is any recognition for how difficult that must have been! I have really enjoyed my time at Insider and if you are willing to put the work in, then you will be rewarded with promotions and extra holidays. If you are reading this and wondering whether to come for an interview - my advice would be to not be put off by these comments - come in and make your mind up for yourself, I truly beleive you won't regret it.
Cons
Fast paced place to work, where progression is based on meritocracy and not the length of time you have worked here - some people may see that as a con if they are not willing to put in the work.
