Leadership is just a word, not an action. No performance review. No feedback. No clear promotion cycle. Every meeting I had with my leader he said “sorry, I didn’t prepare for this” even though he set the meeting, Sometimes months in advance. Overall, the company is a mess. Leadership often ovesells their employees to clients. So they will sell a junior resource as a senior resource and that puts train on the actual senior resources. A lot of projects are staffed with only one or two engineers or chooses projects that are failing or have a very tight timeline making it difficult to have success. As an engineer, you have no say which project you’re placed on. They will place you on a project that you have no knowledge of that particular stack. Unlimited vacation, often comes with management trying to talk to you out of your vacation. Incompetent management. No transparency. Incompetent HR. No room to grow, or learn. No ability to get certifications or learn. No udemy or LinkedIn Learning.
