The work environment also felt unstable, and the U.S. office did not seem to receive the same support as other locations. Comments implying employees could be fired at any time created unnecessary stress and hurt morale. There were also instances where senior management discussed employees in shared spaces where others could overhear, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Senior management also discussed implementing door access codes to track when employees leave, despite employees being salaried. This contributed to a culture of mistrust and micromanagement.
