Pros
A well established player in the PEO space. Good reputation among business community. Company has a great internal structure.
Cons
- They are the most expensive PEO in the industry. It's hard to compete when you have a massive (& I mean massive) enrollment fee and our competitors charge very small enrollment fees. -Late adoption of sales technology. Salesforce was just implemented in 2022, so they are still learning it. There's not a lot of usable sales tools to use for prospecting. You'll have to pay out of pocket for sales tools. -Very little ongoing sales-basics training. -Competitors take advantage of Insperity's super confusing billing invoices to their advantage. Their proposals read like a NASA launch instruction sheet. Prospects are often overwhelmed after reviewing the proposal, while our competitors offer simple, easy-to-understand proposals. -A lot of unnecessary fees like Co-Employment Risk, Delivery Charge, and other fees that turn-off prospects. -Insperity is a very conservative company, politically. Their medical plans for their clients don't include reproductive care & abortion, which was always a dealkiller when it was discovered by the prospect. They didn't do anything to support their clients employees after Roe v. Wade was overturned. -Insperity C-Suite leaders are big donators to conservative candidates. As an HR company that is supposed to promote inclusive culture & tolerance, that is extremely contradictory. -Healthcare cuts off on your last day of employment ,as well as client-employees last day (as opposed to end of month) -Sales reps don't get a 401(k) match.
