Pros

Flexible hours/schedule, autonomy, variety - many different types of clients and challenges keep it interesting, some company benefits are good.

Cons

Pay is low and not connected to performance. No support for continuing education, attending conferences, networking. Questionable leadership practices (opaque, inconsistent, decisions not explained, people promoted to positions of authority randomly and without merit or qualifications, high performers terminated without cause), very little opportunity for promotion or advancement unless you know the right people and play the political game. It's a bit of an old boys club. Seems like leadership often sugar-coats the news. Stock price has plummeted over the past year but all we hear about is beating our earnings projections and dividends paid. Doesn't seem to add up.

Pros

The culture at Insperity is second to none. Very strong PEO service and marketing & service support. Strong income potential for someone who is willing to invest 5+ years building residuals.

Cons

The base salary for the role is below industry norms. While the actual PEO services are world class, the services come at a high premium vs competitors. Because of the lower salaries, many of the BPA's leave for higher salaries.
