Pros

Ability to create your own schedule

Cons

Unfortunately, I had an unplanned week-long hospital stay while working for Instacart as a grocery shopper. Prior to this I was an excellent worker with a 5-star rating. However, Instacart released me from employment even after I explained the reason for my absence. Instacart does not care about their workers.

Pros

There is no pros, it’s a terrible service.

Cons

I don’t have a list long enough; I get no help from support. The app has froze and crashed all day, I call support and they try and fix it and when they can’t they hang up while I’m mid order, I had even checked out and was waiting to stage the order after driving there and shopping and he couldn’t fix the glitch and hung up on me mid sentence… I didn’t get paid for all of that, and the customers cart is just sitting there by the door. It’s the 2nd time it’s happened today. I reach out to support and they tell me that I never even had an order to begin with. Zero help, no management. Terrible software. And that’s just today’s problems, I could go on and on with more than this for each and every day, after doing this for 5 years.
