Pros

easy product to sell if you are one of the few reps given a newly launched territory

Cons

Instawork continues to hire more Account Executives even though the markets are extremely saturated and there are already 4-5 reps in each city. 15+ AEs were fired/quit in the last several months due to not being able to hit their unrealistic quota numbers. The only businesses that can make reps reach their quotas are hotels, universities, large caterers or event venues - and those have mostly all already been sold to. New reps have little to no chance of being successful. Instawork continues to hire because new reps last 3-5 months before quitting/being let go. You are paid for the amount of shifts a business posts in their first month on the platform. Many businesses prefer to start slow and try out 10-15 shifts, which will not make you a dime.

Pros

You get to spend a lot of time dancing around like a monkey for these guys. And if you like monkeys, I guess that's a pro

Cons

There are app allows you to do absurd things. Because they don't have faith in people. And then they discriminate against you in ways which is federally illegal. But they don't care, because you'll continue to talk to AI. And when AI doesn't know what to say, it just starts repeating itself like a broken record. This app it needs updated
