Cons
- Micromanaging and the illusion of autonomy at every level. - One of the Sales leaders oversteps cross-functionally, attempting to make decisions and hold weight for departments they have no insight into. This leader is the reason for a large number of employees leaving and general dissatisfaction. Leadership seems afraid to do anything about it (or doesn't care). - Leadership does not exemplify the values the company touts. - CEO takes almost all calls at his desk (open seating plan), but a large majority of the calls are not appropriate to have within earshot of employees. Some of those calls shouldn't be taking place in the office at all. - Management runs on fear tactics and bullying- will transition to a full RTO before long. - Widespread unspoken fear of job security, and unhappiness in office. Turnover rates are insane. - Layoffs following $60M series D funding (3mo after funding) show that the company cares more about profit than investing in the employee experience and retention. (Company morale has not recovered from the layoffs, and has declined) - Company would rather churn and burn than invest long-term in employees. (no pips, career & growth trajectory planning, little to no org expansion, ERGs, etc) - Office is full of cliques and blatant favoritism. - Multiple cases of employees being given the green light to work remotely full-time and shortly thereafter are terminated. -
