Pros

I have been with IOA for 9 months and it has been a truly rewarding work experience. It's a great team who cares about the mission, keeping seniors’ home as long as possible. It's not always easy, but it’s always rewarding. The people are positive and care about what they do. They are truly driven to help their clients, inspiring the team with the desire to support individual efforts. I have read some old non-favorable reviews on Glassdoor and can say those issues are in the past.

Cons

IOA is growing and has some of the missteps of any growing organization.

I have been with the team for approximately two months now, and I am happy to share that my experience has been very positive. Both my managers and coworkers have been incredibly supportive and helpful, creating a welcoming and collaborative work environment. I feel very grateful to the Institute on Aging for giving me the opportunity to join such a wonderful team.
