Pros

The work they are doing is technically good, but they do it poorly.

Cons

They are horrible to their workers, and they hate disabled people. Every disabled person I knew who worked there got gently (or not so gently) ousted by management. They were incredibly cruel to them and gave them no leeway. I watched people mistreat clients left and right with no repercussion, but the second you existed with a disability, you were kicked. I worked there for years, through the pandemic too, and they sucked me dry burned me out, and fired me in a clearly retaliatory way. I worked myself to near death for them, and they tossed me out after making me BEG to keep my job, knowing full well they wouldn't give it to me. People I thought were friends of mine watched in silence as I was fired by HR, after making me work for hours on my normal shift ahead of my sudden firing. I could list stories for hours, but I am afraid that if I do, they'll make sure I never work in the field again. They already cost me one job I applied for that was supposedly a shoo in until they were called for my references. They ruined my life, and the lives of so many people I know, and the turnover is atrocious, even in places it shouldn't be. Do not work for them. They will hollow you out and leave you worse than you were when you started. For a place that cares for the sick, elderly, and disabled, they sure do treat them like absolute garbage.

Pros

Great nonprofit mission, pleasant office location

Cons

Incompetent management, toxic personalities, and wasteful spending make this a dramatically unpleasant place to work. Stay away if you value your time and peace of mind.
