I really wish I can find good things to say about Insulet. There are some nice attributes to our company but on the whole, I recommend pointing your search elsewhere. The management team members are frequent NO-SHOWS for important meetings where they are needed. When they do attend, they are often ill-prepared to add value to the topic at hand and use meetings to posture themselves or their department. The legal and regulatory teams CHOKE good ideas and are more interested in (or incentivized by) saying "NO" to a new project, then leave it up to department or employee to appeal for months. Insulet likes to promote itself as innovative, which is laughable. We haven't launched a new product in YEARS while our competitors have put new and innovative products in the market frequently. A recent trend happening is that people are leaving, involuntarily, in droves with no explanation from our company as to why. Some of these people were well respected. And then there is the Hologic problem, which is a commonly discussed issue here among non-Hologic people. There appears to be heavy favoritism to those who followed our management team when they left Hologic. Unqualified people abound and are promoted for reasons that others can not recognize. Non ex-Hologic folks must work harder to tread water, let alone succeed. Avoid working here like you would avoid the plague. It will be death by a thousand cuts for your career.
