If you aren't making monetary goal, you will be given a hard time; they do not want people who cannot make the sale. Management is a joke, with a new manager being rotated among the Inside Sales staff nearly monthly. Long-term goals and advancement within the company does not exist, in part because of the constantly changing management and in part because favoritism runs rampant. The only people who seemed to be able to obtain promotions shared relations with people already on the management team, in spite of lack of knowledge or experience in the position. Most of the time, they're looking to outside hires to fulfill team-lead, supervisor, and manager roles while forcing the employees passed over for any promotions to training these under qualified outside hires. If you aren't on the sales team, you aren't considered. At all. You are there only to support sales and to keep your mouth shut.
