Buy-out nightmare - Digital Marketing Strategist Insurance Technologies (Texas) Employee Review

No plan for employees of the company that they purchased despite telling everyone that they would stay on the team and receive the same salary or a raise (total BS - laid off multiple people 2 weeks later and cut some peoples' pay). My coworkers and I spent months in the dark, unsure of whether or not we had permanent positions while seeing several coworkers either get laid off or quit due to uncertainty. After I quit, they proceeded to pay me the wrong amount for my last paycheck and withdrew it completely from my bank account instead of taking the difference. Then, instead of depositing the correct amount into my account after the reversal, they made me wait until the next pay period. TL;DR: If ITC buys your company, start looking for a new job sooner rather than later and make sure you get your last paycheck in the correct amount.
